M.A.D - Making a Difference 

Offers a choice of 3 programmes to young people:

• One-on-One: individual development and support, exploring training, education and employment opportunities

• Leadership: a group of young people identifying, planning, delivering and managing a community project

• Clutha Challenge: a 12 week physical challenge programme plus healthy eating, career, employment and training options

The programmes are designed to:

• Develop and enhance values and self-esteem
• Build positive attitudes
• Recognise young peoples' abilities
• Develop the attributes they need to be successful (responsibility, integrity, critical thinking and inter-personal skills)
• Enhance work based skills and career opportunities
• Contribute to successful employment opportunities
• Generate pride and community ownership in the Clutha District
