ANZ Flying Start Business Plan Competition 2012

Got a fantastic business idea? Want to turn your start-up into a successful enterprise? Have a business with growth potential? Business.govt.nz is launching the second ANZ Flying Start Business Plan competition on 22 May, 2012. The business plan competition is aimed at start-up businesses and small to medium-sized enterprises nationwide.
The competition runs in two stages: Stage 1 will be a general call for applications and Stage 2 will involve inviting shortlisted applicants to send in a more detailed business plan.
If you get shortlisted into Stage 2, you will be in to win one of 16 regional prizes as well as the ultimate supreme prize which includes:
$30,000 cash provided by ANZ for approved business growth opportunities (subject to conditions)
$10,000 of marketing consultation, training or development, provided by The Marketing Bureau
$5,000 of business education or management training, provided by Stellaris
$5,000 of advertising/editorial in NZ Business Magazine
$5,000 of legal advice, provided by Lane Neave
$1,000 of MYOB products or services.
16 Regional Winners will each receive a: $1000 cash prize.

Heartland Services - Inland Revenue Department - Wednesday 6th June 2012

The Inland Revenue Department will be in Balclutha for the Heartland service on Wednesday 6th June 2012.

The service will run from 10am - 3pm at the Work and Income Office Cnr of George and Charlotte Streets.

After this date the Heartland service will run on every first Wednesday of the Month

New Zealand’s future development and economic growth is largely driven by the enterprise and innovation of our business sector, both large and small. The success of our business organisations is strongly dependent on the range and quality of the services they receive from each other. For example, strategic and financial advice, marketing and sales services, and technology support are all key components that drive business development.
